Lindsay Blakeley
For many years the changing colours and shapes of land and seascapes are the inspiration and theme of my paintings.
I live in Titahi Bay and my painitngs are often an impression and abstraction of the local views. These being influenced by the changing light, the movement and moods of the sea and sky, with the contrasting textures of the cliffs and rocks.
Using mainly acrylics with palette knife and oil pastels I like to build the structure and form.
Exhibiting in NZ including Porirua Arts Trail, Pataka Friends, Pataka Bottle Creek Gallery, NZ Academy of Fine Arts,Thistle Hall, Mana Arts. Currenlty showing work at Kiwi Art House - Cuba St Wgtn, and Peppermill Cafe Porirua. Selling work to both home and overseas buyers.

Artists
Our local artists are constantly taking risks and believe that inspiration can be found wherever they look. So that you can be more connected with each other, we'll be providing a fully interactive Artist Hub for artists and organisations to upload information about themselves and their work.
